Thank you for allowing us to share our story with you and explain who we are and what we are about! We hope we can inspire and help those around us who share our passion.
Our Program
My Hero House is the premier Real Estate discount savings program designed for and dedicated specifically to those who serve. Our campaign is comprised of leaders in the Real Estate industry. We share a common passion and are dedicated to help Heroes save money in their Real Estate transactions. We found ourselves troubled over programs currently available that claim to help but only have empty promises and don’t add any real value to the individuals or families going through a transaction. We created My Hero House with the intent to simply give back to and save our brave service men and women thousands of dollars by putting money where it counts, right back into their pockets! All parties involved in a My Hero House transaction are unified in this objective. When a hero finds their house, it is our goal to ensure that they can obtain their family’s independence of home ownership with little or no cost to them. Our benefits are huge and no other program out there comes close to ours. This is our way of saying “Thank You for Your Service!” We support our heroes for their everyday efforts to make our communities, cities, states, and country a safer place to live. The price of freedom and safety does not come without sacrifice from those who serve.
Racing with a Cause
In early 2015, My Hero House partnered with McNeil Racing Community Impact Group, a 501(c)(3), taking My Hero House to the next level to get the word out about our wonderful program. Brothers and friends, John and Kelly McNeil, have a long family tradition of racing. Their passion of family, especially children, and racing aligned well with our values of heroes and their families. Combining the two and Racing for a Cause made perfect sense. Most Heroes will agree that if it goes fast, goes bang, or blows up, it’s just fun! Our partnership gives us the privilege of highlighting and honoring several heroes who have gone above and beyond the call of service through our Day in the Desert Events. At these events, the heroes and their families get to spend a day out in the desert with the My Hero House and McNeil Racing. At these events we honor and award our guests and allow them and their families to ride in the race truck to experience what it’s like in an actual race. In addition to our Day in the Desert event, we have created a Ride-Along program where individuals will personally ride in and participate as Navigator in the race truck for a live race.
Our Mission and Vision
With the creation of our Non Profit McNeil Racing Community Impact Group we have the ability to go a step further and help those in need. One of the charity programs we have spotlighted and are working with is Cutrano AZ Troop Run, Inc. We are supporting their efforts by providing educational funding in the form of scholarships to children of fallen troops from Arizona that served in the U.S. Armed Forces during the Middle East Conflicts. Necessities include uniforms, books, supplies, computer, summer camps, and extra-curricular activities for school. Additional efforts include also helping our Heroes whom are experiencing major life challenges which in most cases have led to the loss of their homes. Our goal is to create enough awareness through charity benefits, drives, and events that will provide enough aid for these individuals.
The Founder
Jay Almeida was inspired to start this organization through his late wife Terri, whom he lost to breast cancer. Terri was an ICU Trauma Nurse who spent much of her life giving back and doing service for others each day and with outreach programs such as “Doctors Without Borders.” Terri’s efforts touched many and her efforts were an inspiration and teaching to others especially Jay. Having spent many years in the Real Estate industry and is currently an award winning Realtor, Jay saw a need to create a program with actual benefits for those who serve everyone else and most importantly, a way to carry on Terri’s legacy. Jay also privately supports breast cancer awareness and Race for the Cure.
Thank you for your time. Please spread the word of our program and our efforts. If you should feel inclined to help, please reach out to My Hero House or McNeil Racing and let them know how you can help or if you can use the program services.
Warmest Regards,
Jay Almeida
